Admins and teachers reviewing course assignments want a status on each submission (for example pending approval, approved, commented or reviewed). Today the assignments tab under course enrollments only shows whether a submission was approved, not whether the teacher already responded with a comment, so tracking the review workflow is cumbersome. A status would also let students see what is happening with their submission: students currently email asking where their assignment went while it sits in the moderation queue. Related feedback from the same customer: the Like, Comment and Share buttons on posts waiting in the moderation list look clickable but are not, and teachers would like to comment before approving.
